I vaguely recall the training camp story, and I was thinking that the coach at Liberty told the Chiefs about him. So why the heck wasn't he starting? This is weird.

Liberty College? He was probably caught listening to secular music, and was demoted. Maybe he talked to a member of the opposite sex?
