Im more interested in the Offense, Defense, and Special Teams depth chart.. here's mine :
Offense QB Trent Green/Todd Collins RB Priest Holmes/Larry Johnson/Robert Holcolmbe FB Tony Richardson/Kris Wilson WR1 Eddie Kennison WR2 Marc Boerighter WR3 Sammie Parker WR4 Dante Hall WR5 Chris Horn TE1 Tony Gonzalez/Kris Wilson LT Willie Roaf/Kevin Sampson LG Brian Waters/John Welbourne C Casey Wiegmann/Chris Bober RG Will Shields/John Welbourne RT John Welbourne/Jordan Black Defense LE Eric Hicks/Carlos Hall LT Ryan Sims/John Browning RT Lional Dalton/Junior Saivii RE Jared Allen/Carlos Hall LLB Scott Fujita/Keyaron Fox MLB Kendrell Bell/Mike Mazlowski/Kawika Mitchell RLB Derrick Johnson/Shawn Barber LCB Patrick Surtain RCB Eric Warfield 3rdCB Dexter McCleon/Jerome Woods FS Shaunard Harts SS Sammy Knight Special Teams K Lawrence Tynes P Dustin Colquitt RS Dante Hall LS Kendall Gammon kcchiefs.com has a updated roster that has all the draft picks included already which was kind of cool. Putting this together I realized that there seems to be such a plethora of option available now. Much more difficult to predict the depth this year than last especially on D. Excellent offseason. Did I read somewhere that DV expected Johnson to play at LLB, the same place that Fujita has been playing? If so, can Fujita move to RLB? Most of you have them both on the filed at the same time -- is this going to be possible?

I don't think it makes any sense at all to have Sammie Parker penciled in as the #2.
For one thing, Morton had arguably his best year as a Chief and his departure is a long ways from a sure thing. Secondly, Parker does not have the size to line up face to face against an NFL cornerback. The physical ones will eat his lunch. His place on the team is to line up in 3+ wide formations and use his speed to take advantage of a safety matchup. Az-Hakim is a good example. Made some big plays in his role, but no one should kid themselves into thinking he's a #1 or #2 I like the guy, he's made some nice plays, but jeez... slow down people. He didn't all of a sudden turn into randy moss |

On the other hand, this is a prediction thread, so there's no reason someone couldn't predict that Parker will overtake Morton in training camp. Quote:

I forgot about Holcomb; I was actually worried that we didn't have a backup FB! (This is the draft a FB every year Chiefs, you know)
