kcchiefs.com has a updated roster that has all the draft picks included already which was kind of cool. Putting this together I realized that there seems to be such a plethora of option available now. Much more difficult to predict the depth this year than last especially on D. Excellent offseason. Go Chiefs

Did I read somewhere that DV expected Johnson to play at LLB, the same place that Fujita has been playing? If so, can Fujita move to RLB? Most of you have them both on the filed at the same time -- is this going to be possible?

Definitely. If DJ emerges as a starter, he'll take LLB and move Fujita over to RLB. Barber is done IMO.

I don't think it makes any sense at all to have Sammie Parker penciled in as the #2.

For one thing, Morton had arguably his best year as a Chief and his departure is a long ways from a sure thing.

Secondly, Parker does not have the size to line up face to face against an NFL cornerback. The physical ones will eat his lunch. His place on the team is to line up in 3+ wide formations and use his speed to take advantage of a safety matchup. Az-Hakim is a good example. Made some big plays in his role, but no one should kid themselves into thinking he's a #1 or #2

I like the guy, he's made some nice plays, but jeez... slow down people. He didn't all of a sudden turn into randy moss

I think Holcombe will be behind T-Rich, John Browning behind Hicks, and Benny Sapp will be either the nickel or dime back, while Woods will either be the starting FS, or B/U behind Wesley.

I agree. He may emerge as the #2, but his resume is still pretty bare. He played well in limited time last year, but let's not set our hopes too high -- we haven't seen enough of him to be sure what he brings to the table.

On the other hand, this is a prediction thread, so there's no reason someone couldn't predict that Parker will overtake Morton in training camp.

And by penciling him in as the #2, people were definitely suggesting he was as good as Randy Moss, who would certainly by the #2 receiver if he played for the Chiefs.

Hes the same size as Steve Smith from the Carolina Panthers. I think hes done alright for himself.

I know you're not serious because Scanlon plays many of those positions and Mike Peterson plays the rest.

I forgot about Holcomb; I was actually worried that we didn't have a backup FB! (This is the draft a FB every year Chiefs, you know)
