Terrible news. While there’s no good time for a diagnosis like that at least he signed his contract and got on NFL medical plans before. I’m guessing that will be a real help as he fights the good fight

I remember late 70's a prominent family in the town I grew up in had a son who got leukemia. He had to go through tons of transfusions and I think chemo. He survived and only sign was he went from straight hair to an afro after his hair grew back in.

Only person I have ever known to get leukemia.

Leukemia is extemely unlikely to be diagnosed at under 10k. I’m not sure maybe you meant 100k

It’s highly unlikely that they’d even order a peripheral blood smear at a wbc under 10k
