The Chiefs have been abysmal for the first two games this season, that is inescapable. But it is cataclysmic how two games have turned so many people that are professed fans to say that our only hope now lies in losing out this season to grab a college quarter back. The realities of the season are that we don't have berry, moeaki or charles. However, we are only a game out of first place. If the bleeding can be mended and the coaching staff can get decent play from the safeties and DMc shows up as that second round draft pick we've all bitched about - then this season can be saved. To talk about tanking a season or even rooting for it after 2 games to get a college kid is ****ing stupid. It's ****ing stupid.

I root for whatever is appropriate. On Sunday I will be rooting for the CHIEFS to beat our hated division rival, since we are only one game back....You ALREADY said you are rooting for the Chargers to win....what more needs to be said?

Go ahead and root for the Chargers...I don't give a **** if the Chiefs are 0-15 I would still root for the Chiefs to beat the Gayders , the Donks or SandyEggo...

I had hopes we would do well this season, obviously with all of the injuries and whatnot I have to adjust what will make me 'happy.'

Beating the raiders or eliminating one of our division opponents from a wild card spot will have to do it for me this season, unless a miracle happens.

You go ahead and root for the Chargers though, sally.

Well, if that makes you feel good, have at it. I think you are missing the point that the people who want the Chiefs to lose out are doing so for a very specific reason, which is to hopefully land a franchise QB who would give the Chiefs a shot at the ultimate goal.

To me that is ****ing idiotic....The odds of us getting Luck are quite low anyhow, and the odds of Luck being some kind of messiah are even lower.......if you multiply those two things together and then add in intentionally rooting to lose when we are only two games into the season....I come up with 100% ****ing morons.

Thats just my math though, add it up yourself and check it.

At this point I would have to say yes, based on age, hype, etc...and the fact our team sucks right now and would have years to get better with a new QB.

But there are so many variables that basically it is opinion, not fact.

The facts are 1) the odds of getting Luck are very low (lets just say 10%, and thats generous) 2) the odds of Luck being a hall of fame / superbowl type QB are low (lets say 5% or even 10%) 3) the odds the Chiefs will spend the money and build the team around Luck to deliver him to the superbowl are fairly low...lets be HUGELY generous and say 50%.......

Do the math - 10% X 10% X 50% = .5% (.005 in terms of probability.)

For everything you want to happen would be less than 1 percent, even by fairly generous standards.....

So you are willing to root against your team, root for failure to take this tiny shot in the dark?

I think its stupid, but thats just me. I'd prefer to be realistic and root for things that make me happy now...Like destroying the Faid and Donks.
