Ten or eleven years ago there was a small band of us that had a CP writers' group. Cosmic Pal started it, Keg and I were the other two regulars, and we had a couple of others join on occasion.

I was thinking recently how the critiques in that group helped improve my fiction writing, even still to this day.

Writing fiction has been a hobby of mine as long as I can remember. Recently, I even self-published a short story collection and a kid's (upper elementary) book. Then, I found out the other day that I had a short story place in the "genre fiction category" for the 2020 Writers' Digest Annual Competition (not first place, mind you, but still placed as in not an honorable mention and won some prizes--I'm a little stoked about that ;-) ).

If I remember right, from years ago, there have been a couple other CP members who have published some stuff. How about you? Let's hear below if you're a writer, published or not, and what you like writing.

Also, if you have published stuff, I'd love to turn this thread into a repository where you can share links to your material. (Or, even if you have unpublished stuff that you just want to share). If you post links in the comments, I can include it in the main post, updating as I'm able.
