Totally understand the expectation of a twist but I don't think there is anyway Jax survives this.

While its about as vague as vague can be, Jimmy Smits said the final ride is "grim", thats a pretty powerful word... whatever happens, I'm not expecting some Hollywood ending.

Lets not forget that Marx will be out of jail and looking for vengeance, so whether its murder or suicide theres no way Jax lives, he has to follow the same arc as Gemma.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Baroski take him down in a shootout or maybe the Irish putting a hit out on him after he kills Connor.

It's been a fun show.

One path this could go, considering the IRA is back after a while away and that Chibs is the #2... they're redefining territories and the poison is gone (Clay, Gemma, next up - Jackie).

Chibs loves the club and loves Jackie, but he's IRA to the core and that overrides it all. They know that Mayhem awaits Jax and he will die, but Chibs does it on his terms and Jax will understand. Chibs is the new leader - runs with the new territories and brings harmony with the Kings .... for now.

Flash forward 20 years at the end -

The boys are grown up, all 3 of them - yeah, Jax impregnated Wendy again. The boys find the journals from both grandpa and Jax.

Or ... Clay's really not dead, it was all a ruse and he kills Jax and reclaims his thrown.

Your imagination is strong, Theo Rossi has said its going to be "crazy", Smits says "grim"... the renewed Irish angle is very interesting, good post.
