I would like to see the Packers get in as well. Plus, the Giants do not deserve to be there. Hell, they are 1-6 in their last 7 games. They have "imploded"!

I've never been a Favre fan, though I appreciate how good he was.

Of course, if I were a fan, I think I'd rather see the Packers miss the playoffs so that Favre doesn't embarras himself against a good team.

The NFC would stand up as a good example why expanding the playoffs is a bad idea, and could well be used to argue for cutting back.

yeah, no expansion, but Silver had a pretty good idea (CNNSI.com) give the four wildcards to the next four best records, regardless of conference.

The purest in me wants to scream no, because it could mean an AFC vs AFC superbowl. But the more I think about it, I could give in to the idea because it would mean more exciting playoffs, more deserving teams in the playoffs and even a better game on superbowl sunday.

Its happened before. Even in the early 90's when there was only 1 wildcard team in each league.
