Anyone have any data on the idea that one of the holdups in ref negotiations is the refs wanting pensions for all? Hard to get behind that one if true.

Hell yes, he doesn't need this shit to go along with the discipline stuff going on.

This is about the Refs wanting a full-time retirement pension and the league wanting to give them a part-time 401k retirement package.

The owners/refs are the ONLY people deciding about that.

Full-time pension vrs 401k type package
no full time refs vrs 1 full-time ref on each crew
no backup refs vrs full backup crew to replace substandard refs
Full-time money vrs part-time money (think refs want 20% bump)
