Kolb basically won his AZ contract though his performance under Reid. Kolb is already bought and paid for. Not saying Reid will make him good, but at least one might feel like he has a chance.

Kolb looked decent enough. He didn't impress me as a top echelon QB or anything, but he looked capable at the position.

Yeah, I'm not saying AZ should target Reid for the Kolb connection. I just don't see how a cards fan would be down on Reid for the Kolb connection.

You could go either way with that I think. If they weren't going to start Kolb because he wasn't the guy with the best upside, but they think Kolb can be a starter somewhere and they can get something for him, dealing him is best for the team and for Kolb.

In his two seasons with the Cardinals, Kolb has been healthy for 15 games and had a series of injuries and concussions. He is owed $11 million if they decide to keep him. Not sure, the team will pay that kind of money to a quarterback that cannot stay healthy. I will say this: Reid is a great quarterbacks coach. He will hire Marty Mornhinwig as an offensive coordinator and Juan Castillo as an offensive line coach. Mornhinwig and Castillo are excellent offensive coaches. All NFL: 2006 Offense Ranked 2 (*McNabb, *Garcia, Feeley) 2007 Offense Ranked 6 (*McNabb, Feeley) 2008 Offense Ranked 9 (*McNabb, Kolb) 2009 Offense Ranked 11 (*McNabb, *Kolb, Vick) 2010 Offense Ranked 2 (*Vick, Kolb) 2011 Offense Ranked 4 (*Vick, *Young, Kafta) *Missed games due to injury Goodbye Andy! Goodbye Mornhinwig! Goodbye Castillo! R.I.P. Jim Johnson. Happy you are not coaching in the NFC East division. Reid will now be tormenting Harbaugh.

Wow, shit is messed up. I'm still hoping he gets off the market quick so Spanos won't even be tempted to hire him.
