Bowe, Gonzo, DJ, Allen, and maybe Waters. Hali would not start on an "A" team, and if he did, he'd be a weaker link.

You will have a weak spot or two on even a all time great team. But certain players may be considered to weak

I think you could get by with a McIntosh or Kolby Smith. But Law & Webb I just can't see

If we're talking about a top level team that has an outstanding defense then Hali would probably be the 3rd end that rotates in, like Alex Brown does in Chicago.

Just for shits and giggles, my picks are...
Waters, Gonzo, Bowe, Allen, Johnson, D. Edwards, Surtain, and Page.

Damn, this thread really shows we are far from being a good team, very far.

It's funny but if you play a game like Madden in franchise mode it really smacks you in the face how many guys you have to replace.

I consider the Jaguars a solid A team in the NFL, with that in mind I would think that Tony G, Dwayne Bowe, Jared Allen, and Derrick Johnson would be starters.

The cupboard is obviously pretty bare. Damn, I can't believe Clark didn't clean house, what the Hell is he thinking? All he has to do is look at the roster and realize how much money the team is spending STARTER money to, that is playing back-up to realize how piss poor Carl has done as GM. I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but this thread really clearly indicates how bad off we are, especially considering some of the guys I mentioned as starters will need to be replaced sooner than later.

And Clark just a few weeks ago laid down the "win now" verdict with his "we are going to compete next year" line he used....so much so several draft sites have summaries that include a line like this..

"There is a chance that Kansas City might go quarterback at this position, particularly if they end up drafting in front of Atlanta and have a shot at Matt Ryan, but with the pressure on the current administration in Kansas City to win now, taking a QB here as a developmental player doesn't make a great deal of sense to me."

How do you tell a bad team that needs to rebuild they have to win now? It makes no sense.
