Dig deeper into his past and you'll see you have reason to be concerned. He had "issues" in college too. He got away with it and did the same thing in the Pros. Hey Von - surprise! You're not at Aggie Land anymore...

Well, yeah, you know that in academic athletics the kids are coddled and spoiled. Programs want to keep the money coming in. If they **** up in the pros it's pretty much on the kid and the programs have already made their money off of them. Time to grow up Von.

When Mike Sherman got there he tried to stop it. Von was going to transfer to Alabama of all places. College athletics is BIG TIME, especially in Texas, and Sherman lost the battle. It was the beginning of his end at A&M. He lost Alumni support. It was an ugly scene. Von knew that he could get away with anything and not be held accountable. His lofty draft selection served to validate his behavior. So, once in the NFL, he continued the same behavior and he got caught again, only this time he is going to have to pay for his mistakes. IMO, it's a very small price when one considers how long he has gotten away with it. Will it be enough? Time will tell. His teammates and coaches need to jumop his dumb ass and let him know how much he let everyone down. Spare no feelings with this one. You're right - time to FINALLY grow up Von.

I keep reading the guy "accidentally dropped" his urine sample and he was basically DQd from further testing at that point, thus causing an automatic failure to the test. Can anyone confirm this? Never heard of that happening before. #InternetRumorMill

No problem our roster is full of HOFers. The season is just a formality and we will go 19-0 /knowmo

It wouldn't make much sense to let him play preseason now. Give the playing time to the guys who are going to be on the field weeks 1-6.

Yeah, if we were to lose Hali altogether and Houston for six... that would hurt like hell.

Peyton and those receivers better be ready to ball ass to compensate.

Honestly, i see them doing just that for the first eight, but then Peytons arm starts to swoon.

We'll see, game on...

Well, there are a couple guaranteed HOFers on the roster. That said, this isn't good news.

That seems to be the prominent story (Schefter even repeated that I believe). Basically...

1. Called for piss test
2. "Accidentally" dropped it and couldn't piss any more
3. Went and drank a **** ton of water, which produced a diluted sample (note that this is also a common "get around a drug test" technique)

I suppose it's remotely plausible that he actually was innocent in the whole deal, but he's not a stranger to either drug use or drug tests, so that seems pretty unlikely. Plus, he dropped the appeal.
