Can you name the 100 largest cities in the U.S. in 10 minutes?

https://hugequiz.com/quizzes/geograp...argest-cities/

As a tip, this is largest cities, not largest metro areas.

Go here, type 100 into the box, and start typing. It puts up a handy map to help you out. It doesn't have a time limit, so give yourself 10 minutes and report back.

I think about geography a lot, I mean a LOT, and I got 81. I missed a couple of obvious ones, but in looking at the ones I missed, 81 was about my limit.

This is lot tougher than it looks. I've never been to Dallas, and there are a dick**** ton of random shitty cities to account for in that area. Never even ****ing heard of Garland, TX.

I wonder if it almost wouldn't be easier to score a higher percentage on this quiz by adding more cities to the mix. It's definitely way easier to name cities when you only have to pick off one or two in a single state.

Those are the only ones I got. Thanks, guys.

59. I knew Albuquerque but I knew I didn't want to waste time attempting over and over to spell it. I had to peek just to spell it here! There are maybe a dozen more I should have known, but the rest...nah, never would have guessed.

Boy, some sort of autofill would've helped there.

My list of shame:

Spoiler!

I went back and looked through the list again today. Here's the ones I've honestly never even heard of:

67 Henderson, NV (Maybe I have heard of this? Is there an Air Force Base there?)
74 Chula Vista, CA
76 Fort Wayne, IN
84 Chandler, AZ
90 North Las Vegas, NV (This felt shitty to miss this one. It's like discovering there's secretly an "East Chicago" that's actually the 87th largest incorporated city that no one ever ****ing talks about. I even tried Paradise, NV because of a CGPGrey video, but no dice.)
93 Gilbert, AZ
94 Hialeah, FL (I'm convinced they made this city up for the sake of the quiz.)

Totally forgot Phildelphia. Almost forgot Memphis and San Antonio.

Missed:
6. Philly (that is what you get for throwing snowballs at Santa Clause, nobody cares about you)
10. San Jose
34. Fresno
36. Mesa
39. Long Beach
43. Virginia Beach
53. Bakersfield
54. Aurora
57. Santa Ana
70. Newark
72. Toledo
75. Irvine
76. Ft Wayne (I thought this city was 50k or so rofl)
86. Glendale
93. Gilbert, AZ
94. Hialeah, FL (never even heard of this one)
96. Fremont, CA

Arizona cities really messed with me. I feel like I did better on California than many midwesterners since I used to have a job that dealt with California almost exclusively. Don't know how I missed San Jose.

Okay, so I knew a few more but the software was playing me, St Petersburg, Jersey City I thought was named New Jersey :P and also North Las Vegas lol...

We all need to be nicer to Hialeah. It's in the 100 largest cities in the US. What if somebody from Hialeah were reading all the things you guys were saying about it?

Oh, I'm sure they'd be laughing at your jokes, but on the inside, they'd be hurt. Definitely.
