The poll is coming shortly for this week's games. Give me a few minutes.

1. Only those who are listed above as active can participate. Everybody else will either be ignored or, preferably, should just make your voice heard by replying in this thread. Because why not, and why make this harder on me than it needs to be.

2. For those listed above, if you fail to make your pick by Sunday morning (poll closes Sunday morning at a time that's convenient for me), you will be disqualified.

3. When you do make your pick, please remember that you CANNOT pick any team you have previously selected. Doing so will disqualify you, no exceptions.

4. Also, keep in mind that margin of victory will factor into any tie-breakers that are needed at the end of the season.

5. As kind of a thing to keep this as manageable as possible for the participants, I am not including Thursday night games for at least the next couple of weeks while the participants get used to this schedule. This will change soon. I will let you know.

Poll forthcoming soon.

Apology accepted.

The tiebreaker should be the opposite, IMO. The person who cuts it the closest should be the winner. That encourages people to pick teams like Washington or Oakland instead of the safest possible, most boring picks like whoever Jacksonville is playing.

I'm takin' BIG BLUE, over the Iggles, in the Swamps of Jersey. If Jax doesn't go 0-16 (and they won't) then the G-men certainly won't.

That's fine and everything, but the game you're describing is not Survivor.

Survivor is, by definition, boring for the first couple weeks.

Once you get about five/six weeks in, then the choices get a lot harder and people start dropping like flies.

Play it however you want, and add whatever rules seem convenient whenever you feel like it, but let's not pretend that there's only one way to play survivor. I'm just making an observation about the incentives of your new rule.
