I don't think that many people in the fan base or media would crap on Chunt for hiring Scott. A lot of people would have made the same move, myself included.

You and I know this but Clark may not because maybe in his mind there WAS enough negative fodder going around about Pioli prior to the hiring that he chose to ignore and now he is paying the price for it and really doesn't want to own it.

Just have to hope he is out to prove a point that he is a good owner but doing the smart things instead of proving it by showing he doesn't make mistakes.
