Vast majority of those were him finding his first read, some of them were his second read, then simply blown coverages.

Last 2 games, his first read was taken away effectively for the most part, and both the Broncos and Jags used pattern matching to do so (if you're unfamiliar, pattern matching is a creation of Belichick and Saban.) KC offense has averaged 25 PPG over that stretch.

Contain him in the pocket and make him hold on to the ball by taking away his first read, and he becomes an average QB.

Boy oh boy, the nogs are out in force today.

You can see it in their 4k-spot, half-blinded, squinty eyes and hear it in their booming, well-rehearsed pipes, they know the Chiefs are going to win ... but they can't call it that way.

Either they are told to shill, or they're picking based on past reputation (see: Y.A. Tittle), or they're simply afraid.

I don't know which motivation is at work here (it might differ nog to nog), but it's pretty damn obvious.

No one is expecting it to happen on every snap. But there's no team more disciplined in their rush lanes and containing QBs than a Belichick coached defense. This will be a much more disciplined version of what Denver did to Mahomes, with no brain dead play calling at the end, and with an offense that can actually score and sustain drives
