Prayer Request Shooting in my neighborhood - Page 2

Just Terrible. 23 years young. What a way to go at such a young age. How could some people be so cruel and do such a thing?

I didn't know this man personally but I have friends that do. Any thoughts, prayers are appreciated. Thank you.

Earlier this week a 16 year old kid was gunned down in a driveway two blocks from school, about 20 minutes after school let out. He was killed by a 20 year old dope dealer who was looking for one of this kid's friends. The kid that got killed had nothing to do with drugs, and when he tried to walk away from the altercation, was shot down in the street. This was about a half mile from my house. The whole neighborhood is very sad. This kid did not deserve to die.

in our little town of 20,000 residents, there have been two murders and one suicide within 300 meters from where we live. one murder/suicide, both south african doctors, and an unsolved murder of an older man just a couple weeks ago. you dont think about it too much until it gets closer to home (the murder suicide was two doors down from us, and i was leaving my house for work when the murders were taking place. thats ****ing creepy)

I think he was referring to his Join Date and number of posts. He sure ain't a newbie. Just a quiet Lurker. OLD lurker. He most likely was one of the VERY first to move over from the KC Star board.

I believe Aug 2000 was the first month this place was born.
