Andy Reid is completely in love with screen passes and shallow crossing patterns.

Meanwhile Cam Newton goes out there with shit receivers and picks up a third and 16.

He wasn't conservative in this game. He marched the team down the field and made plenty of throws that weren't checkdowns.

You have to weed out designed playcalls and screens, and there were plenty of them.

Smith did take the team downfield on 2 long, productive drives. Where he was less effective was the red zone and we don't know if that was him or Reid's playcalling. Given that it's the preseason, I'll blame playcalling but fully acknowledge that Smith was lackluster in the red zone last year.

I thought he played OK at first. The first quarter was pretty good while the second was pretty bad.

He hung in there and made a pretty good pass under pressure to Fasano but he dropped it. IIRC, that would have set us up at about the 2 yard line or so. If Fasano hangs on and we have Jamaal, there's a good chance we punch that in for 6 and go up 10-0.

2 long, productive drives?

One started at the 48 and ended with a 44 yard field goal.

The other was a 54 yard field goal.

Difference between 'nice to see' and 'I MUST see'

All one need see in preseason is continued health.

All we are going to hear from Smith supporters this year is "it's not entirely his fault."

The whole ****ing year unless he is knocked unconscious by a whiffed Eric Fisher block.

So by week 3 we shouldn't hear that any more.

Luckily we'll be spared by the Daniel supporters because they wont be saying the same shit about him. He played tic-tac-toe on Brees' clipboard for years, which makes him an awesome QB.

I shudder to think as to what will happen when Demarcus Ware is lined up with Fisher.

It's only a matter of time before that asshole signs Smith to a 6 year 100 million dollar deal. That's why we need to inflict as much red karma as we can so he plays poorly. In other words, ROOT FOR THEM TO LOSE.

Does everyone want another Matt Cassel situation? Evidently so. We have idiots that actually believed a 6 point half tonight was good.

For Christ's sake what the hell is going on around here?
Every sports guy in the nation said Fisher was fhe best prospect in that shit draft class. Dorsey did what he could and nobody thinks that two file goals is good. Get serious.
