The last time we drafted 1.1, there were no Franchise QBs available. And I hope we are never in that drafting spot again.

I rather be at 31 or 32 each year...and read lazy Saturday drama threads like this each year..than go thru a 2-14 season again.

The point is to draft him ourselves and not take another teams trash heap that they don't want themselves anymore.

It's sloppy seconds.


Draft and develop our own quarterback from the first round is bit different than taking other teams quarterbacks that have to relearn new pov and verbiage and everything a young quarterback could pick up and learn if he is worth a first round consideration.

So the old quarterback has taken lots of hits and mostly sucks balls when we get them. Look at our history to see that.

I think we got a good deal in Hogan. I like him competing against Murray and sure they both will beat out Bray but it's going be a close race I have a feeling. Next year we still need to look at drafting QBotf early if stars are a lined. Now I wish Alex Smith would be on a short leash if he struggles this year for what ever reason and we get to see one of our young quarterbacks play.

Other than that I hope Alex Smith can lead us to the promise land down in Houston for the 2017 Super Bowl. Not holding my breath.
