I don't understand why it has to be a side with Zimmerman, side with Martin situation. It was a regrettable and sad event that I'm sure Zimmerman wished never happened. Mistakes were made by both. Don't see why it has to be, yeah, but Martin made more, or Zimmerman made more. That makes it seem like you have some personal axe to grind.

As for the other options he had...the only good option he had was to not get out of his car in the first place. I think most people in their right mind would say he should have stayed in his car. After that first bad decision, however, his only options were to defend himself, or die.

Neither case proves he was not guilty of the charges, only that they were pled down as they often are. And the civil case, both sides were granted a RO, indicating there was some evidence of the need for the RO.

He was weeks removed from being 16 years old. I think to pass judgment on him as a developed person is premature. I know several shitty kids that grew out of it. I wasn't the brightest bulb myself at 17. It's too bad if you think a troubled teen is a lost cause.
