What is a superfan?

I’ve heard this term used quite a bit lately and have no idea what it is. A quick Google search tells me its a fan who’s obsessive about their team, but which fan isn’t that way and why is the term “superfan” predominantly related to celebrities who like sports teams?

This whole thing frustrates me and keeps me up at night.

Thank you. You never beat addiction. Its always waiting for you to be weak. I've struggled all my life with it but this time I found God to guide me, very active in AA, have 2 amazing sponsors and unbelievable support group. I've lost 5 very close friends in last yr to addiction. It's truly a life and death struggle. I'm blessed to have been giving opportunity to live cause it came very close a couple times to killing me. Well it's not really rumors...there's plenty of publicly accessible YouTube footage clearly demonstrating that you have substance abuse issues.

Never denied I've had substance abuse issues. But people that shot videos while I was drunk you are referring to cast many, many lies about me. I've made amends to every person that my addiction directly affected last 2 yrs and ain't no where the same person I was back then.

Congratulations bro. December 30th will be 12 years for me (I was 24). I made it a New Year's resolution and actually stuck to it. It's hard some times, for sure, but you gotta keep yourself motivated and keep good people around you. I'm glad you've gotten involved in a program. NA is way too cliquey around here so I did AA/CDA. I still hit the occasional meeting, though not like I used to, to keep myself from getting complacent. I've also lost a handful of family and friends over years to drugs, alcohol, or both. It ****ing sucks man, but you can't make the decision for them.

Anyway, good luck with your sobriety and Go Chiefs!

That's so awesome. I so agree about complacent, that's very dangerous for me. I did that when I was sober for 5 yrs before my relapse. My program is very strong now on all levels and makes every day more easier. Also never want to get to high on life and decide to celebrate. Being around others who been through the battle is very important to me. And unfortunately losing a close friend reminds me what will happen if I go back.

What other chemicals besides cocaine and alcohol have you used? If you say "none", then you are a ****ing liar.

Not really. I did have relapse after 6 kids died in 16 months that I was helping through my charity. I did drink to remove pain which lead me to hitting rock bottom. Very glad it happened the way it did, cause it lead me to God which has changed everything for me

Hi X-Factor... huge fan, I think we should turn this thread into an "Ask Me Anything".

Could you share your most memorable story (or stories) at Arrowhead? Bonus points if they include drugs or girls of questionable morals.

Also what game were you most hungover or hurting the next day from?

Literally I have so many stories from memorable things happen over the years, way to many to mention and plenty of stories with girls with questionable morals lol
