Green "AIN'T NO" Grbac!

"My commitment is to this team and doing whatever we can to win, so I'll be here until training camp just working on my knee. I've got guys lined up to come in and throw, and we'll just continue making progress toward the season."

Can anyone even imagine Elvis saying ANYTHING like this, much less mean it??

Green seems to be off to a good start. Lets hope he takes his leadership out on the field.

The biggest example of leadership to me is when Greene said that he would be in Morris' ear to encourage him to keep going and do the work necessary to get back. This guy is showing SERIOUS leadership skills. Vision and forward thinking. Very impressive.

If Green throws 30 TD's and leads usto some wins and doesn't screw up when it counts, I'll be behind him all the way! :)

Naw, I'm already behind him, but let's hope it translates on the field like was previously said.

I hope and think that the major differences between Green and Grbac will show up in a noticeable way in the 2 minute offense. Grbac could not think and/or act nearly quick enough. The 2 minute offense was a chamber of horrors.

52,
AMEN! Boy, wouldn't it be nice to have a QB that could run an effective 2 -minute offense!

How do you guys know if Green can effectively run a two-minute offense. I, for one, have never seen him in that situation before and he isn't exactly the first guy I would choose to do it.

Having said that, it wouldn't take much to upgrade from Elvis.

Nobody said Green could...We all agree that it would be nice to have a QB that could do it for a change.

As reported in kcchiefs.com, DV talked about how impressive TG was in throwing passes. He made quick decisions on who to throw to. Girlback could decide to throw or lay down.

DV's comments were his observations of the mini-camp practices were TG was throwing. He also has past knowledge of TG's abilities. I think TG will let his play do the talking.

JC,

Comparing DV to Clinton? Now I know that you can't always trust what's reported, but I think DV has a little more established reputation for honesty and integrity than that...

In all likelihood, the true answer lies somewhere in the middle.
