***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Congrats on the win. Neither team looked sharp but Oaktown took a win on the road. I loved seeing Ronnie Lot with a headset on; great coaching pick up.

that might be true, but both looked good enough to kick the Chiefs butt...if they don't improve from Sunday's play.

IMHO:

1 game is 1 game, if KC beats Detroit next week it's a new season though the Berry injury hurts.

Oakland's D-line could be good enough to win them some games.

Denver has some work to do on both sides of the ball but I like the coaching change/philosphy.

San Diego has no excuse not to win the West.

Here's my theory.... Some teams like the Bills & the Pats had little problem adjusting to the truncated training season. Some teams like the Broncos & Chiefs & Raiders seriously missed a beat - they just ain't quite ready for the season. Broncos seemed prepared neither physically nor emotionally - hence all the hammy-type injuries & flaring tempers. Oakland was in a frenzy of rage like kids throwing a tantrum resulting in stupid penalties remarkable even for the Raiders. Chiefs looked confused & overwhelmed.... and that wasn't cuz Buffalo is a powerhouse juggernaut (they ain't). Bills were ready for the game, Chiefs weren't. All three of those AFCW teams will be better than they showed in the Week 1 games when they get their shiet together. Watch - all will play better in Week 2.

VON MILLER BENCHED

On LB Mario Haggan replacing LB Von Miller

“He’s a young player, and Haggan is more of a veteran player—just trying to mix that up. Mario has earned that right.”

FOX: "We got off to a fast start."

The Denver backs had 3 yards rushing at the half & were down 16-3. If thats a fast start, I'd be interested in seeing a slow one....
