That's a pretty shitty argument. Everybody knows KU only got in because slimy Lew Perkins guaranteed more ticket sales, a number of tickets which were never sold leaving the KU AD in debt. The head to head game on a neutral field shows who was the superior team that year.

So how come Weis won't release Berglund from his scholarship? I missed it on 610. Seems like a shitty thing to do. i was wondering what the rationale was.

I know it's difficult for some fans to understand, but when 2 loses to 4 by 8, it's not as bad as 1 losing to 8 by 21. KU had a one loss team, we went to the BCS. (BTW, you may have just noticed that a one loss team that didn't win it's division or play for it's conference championship just played for and won the BCS National Championship - so congratulations! The conference MU is crawling off to join just validated KU's Orange Bowl win! Thank you SEC!).

MU begged to go to the SEC, the SEC didn't come calling. MU will be buried in the middle of the pack in the SEC, taking a back seat to the big boys, but hey, they'll get to be on national TV a lot...losing, but still.
