Roaf stays, Shields retires and we hardly notice the transition to Welborne at RG. Which is more a comment on Shields' nondescript performance in '05 than anything else. Kevin Sampson comes back with a vengeance and we can actually pass protect and run block on both the right and left side of the line.

That's pretty much how I think it will play out.

I am hoping Roaf stays as well. I think with LJ running he might too.

I think Roaf will probably stay for another year. Will Shields will retire and be in Canton five years from now.

I would like Shields to stay as long as Willie does so that they will be inducted in the same year... but I have a feeling Shields is done now and Roaf might stick it out

I think they will both come back one more year. And retire together, and be in the HOF together as Chiefs.

I think Jordan Black is a darkhorse candidate for RG next year.

Because Welbourn has played amazingly well at RT the last two months.

If I were them I'd want to stay around to see if they can be part of the season LJ smashes all previous NFL rushing records for a season.

Chiefs 2006-the road to the Superbowl!

It should be a crazy offseason, with a new coach coming in, players retiring, new asst. coaches.

So who will not be back for the 2006 season??

Here is my list.

Warfield-he gets burned at least 5 times a game-cya drunk azz.
Mcleon-with Sapp and Battle, plus the draft-I can't see how we can keep him.
Bell=Bust
Bo-was a non factor all year
Wilson-is he still on our team??
Stills-the special teams sucked and he was the captain. Too many dumb plays and non plays.
Hicks-time for some young blood at that position.
Wesley-had a couple of big games-but not the hitter he used to be.

Al Saunders-will be a HC somewhere.
Gansz JR-sucks and should be fired
Gun-might weather the storm, but judging by post on the Planet-should be fired. I think he returns another year.

For as much as we all dislike Kris Wilson he's going to be on the team next year. Sadly Hicks will probably still be here aswell, Warfield 50/50.

I'm also thinking Black goes to right guard, didn't show much at tackle but guard might be better for him.
