Video Games Video to Stills(video caps) software

looking for software that will allow you to take quality frame shots from an HD video and get High Res pictures.

Free app of course

i've found some like VLC but as far as i can tell that only gives you little 400x350 video caps.

looking for a high res app

any around?

Take a picture of your Monitor/TV with yer digital camera. Duh.

Video Snapshot Wizard www.video-snapshot.com ??

opensource virtualdub or powerdvd player which can record.

Virtualdubmod does it.

Of course windows media player classic does it even easier.
