But we have to get an ILB and a Cb somewhere.
This is a good year to get a CB in free agency.

Like RunKC has brought up, these guys have always loaded up the WR position. If we were to bring in Harvin, I don't think that would auto make us not take one in the 4th round if someone dropped.

the fact is Andy Reid has always had speed at WR in some form, yes he can do with Bowe what he did with TO, but there was always fast WRs in Philly, some more dynamic than others, but they were all evaluated based on their 40 times and their ability to get behind safeties so they could air the ball out 40 times in a season like you said.

Todd Pinkston was the straight line monster, and is essentially exactly what Im saying this team needs, if not a dynamic speed play maker like Harvin that can run combo routes with versatility, or a guy like Todd Pinkston that is pure straight speed behind the safety.

Yep.

There are quite a few guys in free agency that are really intriguing this year.

I absolutely agree with you there. That was the point I was trying to make - we don't absolutely have to have a straight-line track guy if we can find a guy that can use his routes and quickness to get behind a defense.

But you absolutely have to have guys, more than one even, that can stretch the field. Reid's WCO stretches the field moreso than any other variant.

Ew, no.

I don't think Grimes will cost as much as he would coming off a healthy year, but potentially a guy like Sam Shields, Mckelvin, Talib would be great.

I don't think this regime is gonna pinch pennies and sign guys off the shit pile to one year deals.

I dont think Sam Shields is going anywhere now that they cut Woodson

McKelvin and Talib will be options but will want to be way overpaid

I do like Grimes out of all of them but I think he will cost the most, he is by far the best imo

Which is why Harvin would be a perfect fit.

Even a Cary Williams would be better than the shit we had there last year.

Yeah, Grimes would be a really good pair with Flowers. I'm not sure the market for him, coming off an achilles injury.

However, if we do something like Harvin etc in free agency, I'd say CB will be the pick in round 2.

Which is what I'd rather do honestly, and pay a playmaker like Harvin than a CB.

htis, I didn't know you were that big of a Harvin fan.

Dude would absolutely explode in a Reid offense IMO.
