...contacted all four teams at the top of the draft today because they're interested in trading up for Braylon Edwards. So they're apparently not done dealing, and their target is out there. He said there's no way they have the ammo to get to #1, but that 2-4 are possibilities.

They don't need to trade up to #1 anyway. I think San Fran's all but settled on Smith.

It makes me wonder, if Washington does the deal with Miami at #2, what kind of impact it could have on our negotiations. If any.

As I recall, Miami came out in the last day and said they'd take Edwards if they didn't trade down. Wonder if they're trying to put pressure on DC to get a deal done.

I'd assume they'd use Rod Gardner as trade bait too. No sense in having him if Washington already has Moss and wants to add Edwards.

After a little google, I see they've been talking edwards for a few weeks now, but it's still intriguing.
