Well, that is actually true. But, can we find a qb that doesn't make a horrible throw now and then?

I can recall Aaron Rodgers missing a wide open Greg Jennings in the playoff game loss to the Giants. Bad throws happen. Alex has thrown more than his fair share. But, to complete 70 percent of your passes, you have to complete quite a few as well.

when you learn how to read, and COMPREHEND, that I clearly said PLAYOFF game, and it was clearly in 2011, because the giants weren't IN the playoffs last year, then we can talk okay pumpkin? Clearly you are on overload today.

Doesn't matter. You insinuated that because Aaron Rodgers missed a deep pass, it was OK for Alex Smith to do so.

Faulty reasoning. Aaron Rodgers is an elite deep passer. Alex Smith is the EXACT opposite.

Most certainly. However, you probably won't find any of the top tier guys doing that with the same frequency. Of course, that requires you to compare Alex with the top tier(Brady, manning, brees, rogers) which is silly.

I don't recall saying it was a DEEP pass, that's what made it all the more shocking. It was a relative easy pass for him, and he missed Jennings by 5 yards, by him self, in the end zone. It wasn't a point to illustrate that Aaron Rodgers is a bad qb, obviously hes one of the top 3 in the league. It was to illustrate that EVERY qb makes bad passes. I saw peyton manning throw 3 passes against Atlanta last season, and all three were picks.......

Isn't there a % of bad pass statistic? I bet Alex wouldn't look bad on it.

he doesn't take chances, blah blah blah. you know how that crap will go.

They did a break down of passes that qbs threw, and alex was top5 in 2 of them, and didn't throw enough to rate in the one behind the line of scrimmage, yet, alex throws short every time....lol.
