Food everyone else loves, but you think is overrated

Just thinking about foods that everyone else seems to think is the greatest thing ever, and you just don't get...

Me: Nutella. I'd never tried it until today when someone at the grocery store had samples of those little snack packs. So I tried it. It's not bad, but it's certainly overrated.

So I'm trying to think of other things like this. What do you have for me?

Back when coffee first became popular in Europe. It was hard to source the beans and control quality. So coffee houses roasted dark to get a uniform flavor no matter the source or quality.

Dark roasts are not burnt though. Starbucks tastes burned.

I understand dark roast. Starbucks goes past dark. Google "Starbucks burned coffee" sometime.

Yep, I always get light roast. Dark roast is for people who don't really understand or like coffee.

Fried chicken

People get all stupid about the fried chicken in SEK (Chicken Annie's, Chicken Mary's, etc.), and I just don't get it. Sure I like fried chicken, but it's nothing special. I can't remember the last time I purchased any, and I certainly wouldn't drive 30+ minutes for it like some people do.

Pop Tarts hate them!

Beef Stew leftovers in a bowl.

Tomato soup and for that matter most any soup with the exception of cheese and potato soup.

Since ive gotten older most any flavored potato or corn chip. They just dont taste same or good anymore.

Tater tots any instant potato curly fries and that includes the spiced. Crinkle or steak fries I like.

Corn mush or grits unless sweetened with molasses.

Bean burritos give me meat and bean.
