Chiefs What to do in KC? - Page 4

The family and I will be in KC for my second, their first Chiefs game. Also, Sunday is the old ladies birthday. So we want to have a good time. Will be coming into town on Saturday, and staying through Monday night!

We already know what we're doing Monday night obviously, but what can't we leave town without doing?

We plan on eating BBQ a lot. OK Joe's, Arthur Bryant's, Gate's, Zarta's...which ones are musts? Any I missed? Also, on her birthday, I'd like to eat somewhere fairly nice, but obviously without the price tag. Any suggestions?

Probably plan on trying to do the tour of Arrowhead, hit the Power and Light district, the Plaza. I saw "RAIN" the Beatles tribute was in town, think it's worth it? The 14yr. old daughter is a HUGE Beatles fan, so I'm leaning towards it. Is the WW1 museum can't miss?

We're staying at the Marriott in the Plaza, so anything in that vicinity would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

You could also go tour the Boulvard Brewery, or you could tour Harley Davidson Plant, you will have to check those websites to see if they offer weekend tours.

I haven't done it, but I have been told that the Boulevard Tour is well worth the time. Definitely on my to-do list.

Best book that thing yesterday. Guessing lots of out-of-towners will try to do the tour that weekend.

There's a pro racquetball tournament in Overland Park this weekend. That's where I'd be if I could have gotten away this weekend.

The Great Mall in Olathe is one of the most vibrant and alive malls in the United States. Go early to beat the huge crowds.
