I am a little disappointed at the smoke around Andy Reid to Arizona. He fits the description of what Clark wants in a head coach. . . plus he is an offensive guy, which I DEFINITELY prefer

All we've heard is he has interviews with 3 coaches opposite the profile he described. All 3 with connections to Pioli . It could all be a smoke screen, but you should know who you want and act fast. I don't know why we always have to slow play every decision. You've known these changes were coming for half of the season. Stop ****ing around and get on it. Talk is just talk. I hope he has a plan in place because it sure doesn't feel like it. Hopefully I'm wrong and Kelly will be named January 4th.

To be fair though, it seems like everyone is interviewing the people we are.

Reid hasn't even scheduled an interview with AZ yet.

Pioli leaked the rumor of Reid not interviewing with AZ to try and calm fan reaction for missing out on another high profile HC.

Yes, it's not possible that the 2 sides have shown mutual interest because, you know, the reports saying they haven't interviewed say they have talked.

They will discuss things like this. That's why Schefter was premature in saying it was 95 percent prior to an interview happening Posted via Mobile Device |

#1 Schefter is reporting that a league source says he's 95% sure.
#2 What if Reid is doing this to blow smoke and get the price up from another organization by leaking info like this. Coaches and Players do it all the time and the fact that the Cardinals have not even interviewed him or shown him the facilities or anything I think it's a hooplah right now. Not to mention whats great about Arizona? Honestly? They had a worse pass attack than we did, Kolb is obviously dried up, they have a newer stadium but their fanbase is nowhere near as dedicated as ours. They've only sniffed postseason success once when they went to the Superbowl. I just don't understand why he believes thats the best situation to continue his career. Not to mention in the same division as Harbaugh and Carroll with a two years behind each in building? I'd think you'd come here where you only have to deal with the Broncos and that's until Peyton hangs it up which should be in the next year or two. |

Adam Schefter is right about 95% of the time. He's the best in the business.
