There's been some recent confusion with the old spoiler thread, so I'm kicking off a new one for tonight's premiere. This is going to be the one for folks who've read all the books. So anything anybody might want to talk about is in bounds. Suffice to say, if you haven't read the books, you'll probably want to stay out of here until you do...

I'm assuming based on nothing but assumption that the White Walkers are going to play a major role in book 6 and or 7 before GRR concludes the book series. Showing the white walkers on TV during book 3 seems important to me. But, I could be wrong. Maybe someone knows for sure. Is that a spoiler?

I would prefer it stick to what you listed, or at least put up a warning so I know not to read the post.

HBO called him the Night King, but took it down. That could be because it was a spoiler or because it was flat wrong, nobody knows for sure. If you want to know about the Night King, then you should google it as it has obviously been a hot topic on the internet since Sunday. I'm not sure what to think.

This. I kept waiting for her to tear into Margaery Tyrell, and she acted like they were best buds.

Maybe the conversation she had with Tywin made her understand that the only house that could take them down is the Tyrells, and Cersei realized she needed Margaery to marry Tommen.

I don't really remember a point in the book (especially after Joffery died) that Cersei was even cordial to her...

They've tried to make Cersei sympathetic from the beginning. Part of it is Lena Headey. Her vision for the character has never really matched what's in the books.

I've always been pretty sympathetic towards Cercei, even in the book. She was married to a man who hates her for not being Lyanna, and everything she does is for her children.

Apart from the incest (which doesn't keep anyone from liking Jaime), I don't see how she's all that different from Catelyn.

Cersei is a paranoid crazy bitch in the books and at this point was harassing Margary and plotting her destruction even though the Lannisters did need the Tyrells.

Show Cersei comes across as more sympathetic, especially in last night's episode and her ineraction with Margary which seemed way too friendly to me.

I wonder if they'll try to yurn her into something less than a monster. I don't seee them allowing her to burn the Tower, or take the walk if they make her a sympathetic character.
