Royals have won 6 out of 8!

At least, I think that's right. Wow, what the hell is happening?

They're giving us false hope.

Yeah, so much for a sweep.

I almost hope he goes out there and gives up 10 runs in 2 innings, maybe then they'll have his ass on the next bus out of town.

You would think. I heard some players can choose whether they want to go down to the minors or not, due to stipulations in their contracts. Is Lima one of those guys? He needs to go to AAA badly.

I'm still amazed at the quality starts and near dominance displayed by Carrasco. The pitching staff as a whole is shoring up very nicely. It all starts with pitching and this team is starting to pitch very well. Oh, and then there's Lima...

No idea, but given that he's a veteran, I bet he could. I don't even want that though, just get rid of him. What's the point of sending him to Omaha? Is he really going to help us later this year?

No, but it beats sitting him on the bench and letting him do nothing.

At least if he's on the bench, KC doesn't automatically spot the other team 8 runs.

He won't be going to Omaha.

My guess is if/when Lima gets shelled today, he'll go the same route as Marerro. Designated for Assignment.

Although an outright release wouldn't surprise me either.

I think Morrero was as much as a problem with his mouth and attitide as he was with hit .150 batting average.

Trading one of the teams highest players for a 25 year old single A utility infielder, and continuing to pay most of his salary shows how bad they wanted his sorry azz out of here.

Yep, that's my understanding of that situation as well.

But Lima was brought back to provide veteran leadership, and blowing 5 runs leads every start isn't a "quality" I want the young guys on the staff to pick up.

It was either that or pay all of his salary and get absolutely nothing return.

Yeah, I'm suprised how well he's doing. I guess I am a bit concerned that after the All-Star break, that he could trail off.
