Yeah, went back and Googled it. Looks like the 2015+ containers don't shed the Teflon coating.

Bumping this thread to agree with FMB.

I thought the ninja was pretty good until I got a Vitamix. It's a clear difference and way better if you appreciate texture and taste.

Note: my parents decided to splurge on a new one so they gave me their almost 6 year old Vitamix for $100.

I have since bought one and enjoy it more than the ninja. It makes ice cream out of frozen fruit.
