well, in fairness...
not a whole lot of people want to watch 162 baseball games...so MLB.TV has to make the price point appealing to the people who think "meh, might as well!" and then don't end up using it all that much. Sunday Ticket is a much, much, much bigger deal. The NFL is like 1000 times more popular than the MLB. So I think it's a pretty fair price point for non DTV customers. |

Remember last year when we all stole NFL Gamepass for a month or two using a VPN?
We should have cherished that. |

Actually, I did see where there is a college student discount but its only for like 10 schools. Ohio State, USC, Alabama, Florida, Harvard, etc. Those of us who went to Truman State or Toledo are ****ed

I would assume that's what it means. I live in an apartment so I'm good to go, but why couldn't you say you didn't have an unobstructed view of the sky due to trees, or that you rent the house you live in and the landlord says you cannot put a dish up? It's $200.00, I'd think they would want to get as many people as possible.

If your computer tells the NFL that you are in Argentina or some other country, will they sell a pass to stream the games live? If so, does anyone know what the cost would be? Are some countries less expensive than others? Inquiring minds want to know... |

It is no longer free in the Netherlands.
You can VPN to other countries and purchase NFL Pass. The prices do vary by country. Cheapest I saw was $165 (but don't remember what country). Most countries in the EU and Canada were $200+. Someone claimed that Romania was under $150, but my provider doesn't have a server there so I haven't checked. If I could get it for >$100 I would, but the Chiefs just aren't worth it this year (IMO). May be wrong, but I just didn't feel like shelling out $200 for the on field product. If I'm wrong, I'll just order team rewind ($30) somewhere down the road.

I am new to this whole operation, but all you have to do is load the website using Hola and then once you are logged in you can turn it off to give you better internet speeds before launching the player. If Directv doesn't want to take my $200 for the streaming service, I will happily spend $110 on a service that could very well be better. |

Ok I have sunday ticket max. My only problem is that my stupid local cbs is showing the chiefs game is a dumb ass raycom station that is in a pissing match with directv. Directv won't be showing the game on ST since it is on my local station even though they currently don't carry my local station. Antenna isn't an option as they are 50+ miles away and their transmitter is as powerful as the pics in the CP server thread.

The station may carry a CBS stream in their website, check that option.

No, I mean because of the blackout, they may stream the game on Sunday. They stream their news everyday, but if the blackout is still going on on Sunday, they may stream the game. I know the Raycom NBC stations had a link for the NBC stream of the game online yesterday for the affected markets.
