Has anyone here ever seen the film?

I'm need help in figuring out what song is being played during one of the scenes in the movie. Even if you haven't seen the film...maybe you can identify the song?

It plays over and over in my head, but I can't pick it out.
I know I'm going to kick myself when I finally figure out what it is...

I honestly dont know, but i CAN tell you (probably already knew) that its Herbie Hancock on the keys.

Without looking at the link, John Lee Hooker, Van Morrison, and The Doors all do a versioin of Gloria that starts of say something about she comes around midnight.

I might misunderstand you but that's what i thought of.

There's an YT clip at the bottom of my post that will give you access to the video I referenced.

That is in fact Hancock on the keys.
The band leader is Dexter Gordon.
