Weis is a horrible head football coach. Bill Self is among the top 3 coaches in the country at what he does. Why would anybody compare them? For that matter, why would any self-respecting KU fan ever bash Self after the enormous success he's had?

Bill Self's early KU teams failed in the NCAA tournament, REPEATEDLY, because he was out-coached by 16 and even 14th seeded teams. This cannot be disputed in any way, shape or form.

Yet KU hires a two time Super Bowl winning OC that led Notre Dame to a BCS bowl, yet you don't support him?

Judging by the content of your posts on a myriad of topics, I'm beginning to doubt the same about you.

Self is in the middle of one of the greatest runs of success college basketball has ever seen and has KU's basketball program stronger than it ever has been before. He's also now surpassed Calipari as the best recruiter in the country. The idea that any KU fan would be shitting on his work over the last decade makes me question that person's basic understanding of college basketball, if not their sanity altogether.

I support KU football. I just recognize that it's an awful program and that Weis has done very little to fix that since he arrived. You'd have to cease being objective at all not to acknowledge that much.

What fans are you talking about? All of the people who I know that watch Eastbound loved the show this season and it seems most of the people in this thread who actually watched it liked it too. As usual, Dane, you're the one in the clueless minority here.
