Hudson has broken bone in leg. #Chiefs will go with Lilja at C and Allen at LG for time being, at least. They signed two backup linemen.

He's injured too, on the practice squad injury list.

Well at least Jeff Allen gets to take reps at left guard for the rest of the year as the starter.

What's really worrisome is that even if Lilja did play well at center, he was already questionable to play in the game because of a bad back.

WTH happens if he can't go this week?

Asamoah steps in at Center and Stephenson or Winston step in at right guard. Crennel has specified this before.

I would hope it would be Stephenson even though he hasn't looked good. Having a hole a tackle is much bigger than one at guard.

Hey, I'll take a broken bone over a torn ligament any day.

A lot less likely to linger, yes?

Bones grow back stronger than before... I think....

Oh for ****'s sake, I didn't mean "How will we find five players to man the line?"

What I'm talking about is how big a cluster**** will it be if we lose Lilja and have to play even more people out of position?...

I could be wrong, but in the Saints game, when Asamoah had to go out for a play to get his shoe on, I think Winston slid over to guard, and Stephenson played RT.

EDIT: Just checked to make sure, and yeah, that's what they did.

Dexter McCluster injury update: not all bad news for Chiefs WR

Everything we know about McCluster's elbow is here. The good news is that he was limited in Wednesday's practice, which means he has a shot to play this weekend.

Dexter McCluster injury update: not all bad news for Chiefs WR

TOTAL UPDATESsince SEPTEMBER 26, 2012

ABOUT 2 HOURS AGO UPDATE 32 COMMENTS
Dexter McCluster injury update isn't bad news

The news on Dexter McCluster and his injury are in and it's encouraging. KC Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said on Wednesday that McCluster would be limited in practice, which is a good sign considering how nasty his injury looked.

By placing him limited, it suggests McCluster has a shot to play this weekend against the San Diego Chargers.

"Dexter has got an elbow and he'll be out there," Crennel said, via comments sent out by the Chiefs, "and he's going to be limited. We will not contact him. We're not going to have contact today anyway because they're not putting on pads today, but he'll be out there trying to see what he can do."

When you couple this with McCluster saying on Facebook earlier in the week that he's "feeling good" then I think you have to be encouraged. I was worried this would be a season-ending situation but it's not.
We'll have a better idea of McCluster's status later in the week but if I had to guess now he'll be limited every day and then questionable on Friday. We'll see what the Chiefs decide to do with him.
