Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck.

Here we go folks. The new rankings are in. And it's not pretty. Again.

Alex Smith is:

Quote:
23rd in yards per game
26th in completion percentage
29th in yards per attempt
28th in yards per completion
22nd in QB rating
28th in TD percentage/25th in TDs
PFF still hates Alex Smith. They rank the Chiefs' passing game as third worst.

Alex is:

Quote:
35th in pass rating
33rd in PFF QB rating
20th in accuracy percentage
32nd in 20+ yard attempts (13)
32nd in 20+ yard completions (4)
29th in accuracy percentage under pressure
For the season, when throwing passes outside the numbers and over 10 yards, Alex is a pathetic 10 for 33.

Alex has completed 30 passes behind the line of scrimmage and 26 over 9 yards.

Additional statistics which are 100 percent his fault:

Quote:
27th on third down
21st in offensive scoring - 19.1 points per game
It all adds up to:

7-

Only 4 freakin passes over 20 yards? I knew it was bad-but that is pathetic. Colts and donks had more last night alone.

Brady had a poor game, but we can't fault him for not keeping pace with The Great Geno Smith.

Tom Brady is also having a poor season, but still has 9 deep completions.

Tom Brady's worst year is better than Alex Smith's best year.

Ah, ChiefsPlanet... where the argument to weeks or seasons worth of stats is one bad day by one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

01-03 is about the same as 2011.

Smith's 2011 is certainly better than Brady this year is you don't wanna count half of 2012 as a year.

Alex is losing more supporters with his uninspiring play than gaining because of our record.

Got my years mixed up! Anywho, the actual problem was an elbow injury he suffered after the torn ACL.

Harder to tell on TV. Haven't heard the commentators say anything about it.

There was definitely booing as the offense came off the field after one possession Alex Smithed.
