So , my understanding is he's not yet signed. Does this mean he cannot participate in TC until signed ?

Nobody had even heard of this guy a year ago. Because of a shitty draft class, he gets picked first, which is far above his actual worth, and now he wants to be a dick about the contract. Bad start.

Its all about the guaranteed money, otherwise, there's not much to negotiate.

Lol, fan boi. I have repped the entire Chiefs team, far more than I have ever repped Alex Smith. I cant explain why this is so difficult for you guys. Oh, and if you think im REPPING the Chiefs, on ITC on NFL network, they just had Steve Wyche, Brian Baldinger, and Willie McGinest all SLOBBERING over the chiefs, even having Willie say that 9 wins might be too low for how many the Chiefs might win this year.

Ouch....Sucks to be you......

Slow down. he, as in Fischer, isn't doing anything. Guaranteed, he hasn't read anything about that contract. His agents, are doing their jobs. And the hang up, in case you don't know, or for anyone that cares, is about say, if the Chiefs cut him in year three, they are haggling over how much money he would receive from the rest of the contract if he signs with another team. They will fix this by upping his signing bonus, and all will be right in the world. Blaming the player for this, is silly.

He isn't doing anything, including practicing football with the team.
