Who do you choose?

If you had to choose, would you take (Priest(injured) and LJ) or would you take (Dayne, M. Anderson, and T. Bell)?

I like T. Bell a lot. Plus, they can be fairly effective with Mike Anderson and Dayne if they have to. Probably not as explosive as LJ, but they can suffer an injury and still be fairly productive. I think priest is done.

Priest and LJ. No contest.

That duo in Denver's blocking scheme would easily out-perform your current RB corps.

This isn't much tougher than say....Choosing between collecting $200 owed vs having Bill Braskey kick my ass.

Priest and LJ hands down, and anyone who would take Denver's backfield instead probably wears a hockey helmet during waking hours...or at least should.

So, instead of (Bell, Dayne and Anderson) you would choose Shanahan?

If I'm understanding the question correctly the option is for an injured, and therefore unable to play, Priest plus LJ vs. Denver's three RBs.
In this scenario you have to factor in the possibility that LJ goes down leaving you with nothing or one of Denver's backs goes down lwaving you with the other two.
IMHO that makes the choice a whole lot tougher.

Its a damn shame that the pregnant mothers of so many Donk fans chose to eat their Cheerios with Night Train and thalidimide instead of milk and sugar.

I actually think LJ is a hell of a back. I'm not sold that the chief will be able to control him off the field though. If the chiefs don't make the playoffs this year and maybe next, I expect LJ will be a problem. Denver has had decent luck with keeping egos in check in the runnin back area.

No.

What I'm saying is that I belive Denver's RBs are a product of their system, but in general are average to below average. Holmes and LJ would be more likely to succeed regardless of the system they were in, and would be more successful than Bell, Dayne, Anderson in any system.

What the hell do any of Denver's RBs do better than Holmes and Johnson?

I like Anderson better than Bell, but LJ better than either of them.

Anderson is probably the more polished HB but LJ has far more talent...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yep, when LJ went down yesterday it was not a comfortable feeling I had. It was stated in some other posts, we need to start getting Dee Brown some reps. I keep hearing that LJ demands to stay in, well DV needs to stand up to him and tell him to set his ass down.
