Pure guess: 4 years/$40-45M. If the Chiefs did a deal similar to this, I’d certainly expect a backload, although it wouldn’t be drastic I don’t believe because I don’t expect us to be super active in FA this year.

I think Shanahan will want Robinson to come in and be his Julio Jones at 6’3”. I think the Bears will go after him too. I’m not sure on Watkins. Maybe there’s a team out there ready to pay him whatever it takes?

The Chiefs and Rams were rumored to be the contenders at the combine. But the Rams didn’t use Watkins most efficiently to my eyes. He was their red zone guy it appears (8 TDs), but Goff is a more limited QB than Mahomes IMO.

His market could be dryer than I suspect though.

San Fran will be in on him, as will other teams. But teams with massive cap space can afford him at that price.

I wouldn't pay a penny over $7 million per season for Watkins.

He's had some issues with effort in Buffalo and has been injured all too often for my taste.

3 years, $21 million, $11 million guaranteed.

You are mentioning signing Hunt...why? And by the time those guys are up Justin Houston likely isn't here any more either.

The missing point to a lot of that is several huge contracts won't even be here in 3 years, if anyone thinks Justin Houston is still on that deal or Eric Berry sees most of his are not living in reality.

It doesn't matter if Houston is with the Chiefs in 2020 because Mahomes is going to eat up $30+ million soon.

What has Sammy Watkins ever done to prove he's worth $10 million per year?

Certainly not last year or the year before. The guy's had a total of 67 receptions in the past two seasons.

You're giving a guy $10 million per for 33 catches a year?

Watkins is a playmaker, if you are going to develop a young QB it's best to give them a lot of weapons.

I'm sorry this team has a ****ing guard with a 40 million dollar contract.

Doesn't really sound like that is to much looking at who else is there.
