They are included in the price of your ticket. Not an extra cost. There are still people that think there is a fee for them. Amazes me.

I heard there are disabled mercenaries for hire that will pretend to be part of your family and get you to the front of lines.

as others have said - pony up for staying on the property. It makes a huge impact on the kids, and quite frankly, everything you really need is within the "city limits" of the disney property (which IS really a small city, with their own fire station, etc. etc.).
you can use the bus system to get from property to property for free - and busses come every 15 minutes if I recall properly. If you stay at either the caribbean (semi-reasonable) or Boardwalk (super nice, but pretty damn spendy), there is a gas station/convenience store that you can buy waters, snacks, etc. etc. that can save you some dollars. I've stayed at Coronado springs and Caribbean and both are nice....but kids would prefer caribbean as the pools are much more kid friendly. Check into the deal that includes food. Come to the conclusion ahead of time that Disney offers literally no decent food options (unless you book some of the higher end restaurants......if you like mexican, the restaurant in the mayan temple at epcot is pretty good). Definitely get park hopper passes....and definitely plan to go to all the parks....every one of them is better than disneyland in anaheim. And the Animal Kingdom is better than any zoo I've been to (including San Diego).....the safari ride is unbeatable. Let me know if you have more questions - I've been for business/pleasure 3-4 times in the past 7-8 years.

We haven't heard about your home's value in a few weeks. Thanks for updating. And why the **** are you even mentioning it since the thread is about Disney World, which is in Florida? |

Property, yes. Contemporary, no....unless you don't want to stay in the tower and get a garden room. The Contemporary has the worst elevator system in the world. Sometimes took us 20 mins to get down from the 9th floor.

What's the deal with elevator design these days? It's abysmal. I've stayed in several reasonably new hotels over the past year where the elevators were ridiculously slow and/or there weren't enough elevators to meet demand. I don't know if it's a dumb idea to cut construction costs or if it's something else, but it's ludicrous. There's a hotel in western Colorado that I probably won't stay at any more because I don't feel like standing around for five minutes every time I go to the lobby.

Aside from the Royals World Series parade/rally last year, probably the biggest 'holy shit' mass of humanity I've ever been in was leaving the park after the nighttime fireworks and trying to get on a monorail back to the hotel. Holy shit. That was a ****ing crowd...all going to the same place...with only one way to get there.
