seems to me that recruiting has really stepped up since Weis came on board.


If he can get some decent t.v. wins this season then we could really see a boost next year.

Seems like a nice diverse class he got.

Plus I'm far from giving up on some of the talent that is already in house...

I think his puuls from the JuCo ranks were significant. We need players that can make a contribution here and now. We're not going to set the world on fire next year, but I'd sure like to see and end to the 50 point losses.

The days of the 50 point losses are likely over. I heard a stat a few weeks ago along the lines of no BCS team had ever given up 70 points and 50 points in the same season. KU gave up 70, 66, 61, and 59. That was historic and can only be the result of incompetence by Gill.

Weis is a pro. Whether or not he works out, it's going to look like a real football team.
