I never like to see players injured, but talk about a rough start to the season for OU. That should shut up the Boomer Sooners for a little while.
Two sure fire first round picks in Bradford and Gresham had they come out last draft, who knows how far they fall now... |

I would assume Gresham can still go in the first round provided he's healthy and ready to workout before the draft..
But I doubt he goes as high as some were talking. |

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma Sooners tight end Jermaine Gresham will miss the rest of the season after having surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee.
Coach Bob Stoops said that doctors determined during an arthroscopic surgery Tuesday that they needed to stitch together the cartilage in Gresham's knee. Stoops said Gresham will need five months to recover. The 13th-ranked Sooners are already reeling from the loss of Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Sam Bradford, who sprained his shoulder in a 14-13 loss to BYU and will be out at least two weeks. Gresham was a second-team All-America pick last season and had been considered a top NFL prospect before returning for his junior year. |

Something like that would kill KU. To OU it's just a little scratch.

I am going to have to disagree with it being just a scratch Skip. They lose their starting QB 2-4 weeks and the first round talent TE for the season. If they can win the games with Landry Whatever at QB until Bradford gets back, then maybe it is just a scratch.
