Wow. I've thought about doing shit like that (buying several units and flipping them) but it seems like a shit ton of work. Have you done it before or was this your first time?

I'm not counting the money I put out for the one I haven't sold yet. If there's no profit to be made, I simply just take it back to the store.

Oh okay I thought you meant out of pocket was zero for 2 PS4s.

Did you price the PS3's at $125 profit for quick sell? Aren't they easily going for $600?

No real work at all to be honest. I'm not camping out for any of them. I pre-ordered the systems from Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart and New Egg. All of them are being shipped to my house except the Best Buy one. Put them on Ebay for a pre-order buy it now of 630, both sold. After fees from Ebay and paypal, roughly 125 profit.

When I get them on Friday, I'll just slap a fedex label on it, take it to the store and I'm done.

I've done it for big launches in the past and have made some money.

Yes, I think the market will be flooded on Friday with them so I wanted to beat that rush. I think the saturation on the ebay market will cause prices to go slightly below the 630 price point I put up. I got 630, but the ebay fees are out of control anymore.

It was a 64 dollar fee for them, another 20 to paypal. My cost is 424.99 with tax.

I think I'm going to build a new gaming rig instead of getting either console. I'll probably wait a while and let the dust settle and then see what's up.

Damn. I may end up trying that next launch then. I have plenty of money laying around right now.. Would have been nice to cash in.

I know there aren't any AAA titles at launch but I am still fired up to play fifa, 2K, & BF4 on a next gen system. Hell I can't lie, Im even looking forward to Madden as I enjoyed the current gen version.

I totally understand waiting, but I love the nostalgia I've experienced getting geeked out over the PS4 launch.
