I actually prefer Pibb, but it's more exclusive. I'm not sure you can get Pibb in a sub-$10 meal.

I did a quick google and saw a $5 price, and I was skeptical, too. This site shows a price of $6.66 in Colorado, which seems more accurate.

I don't know if independent places are allowed, but I stop at a gyros place occasionally on my walk home, and they have a fantastic gyros/fries/Dr. Pepper combo for $8.25. Here's a picture, but substitute the beef gyro for the chicken one. Top-notch french fries.

I stopped tonight just so I could get a picture of the beef gyro and also enjoy a great #1 combo meal. This place is called Gyroz, and it's excellent.

That's Dr. Pepper in the cup, by the way. Unlimited refills.

If you're looking for cheap and good, you can't go wrong with a hot dog combo and a slice of pizza from Costco. Unhealthy I know, but damn for $3.50 it should top any list imo.

You still would have $6.50 left. Can't beat that.
