I'm sitting at 2-4 and wanted to mix things up. Made two deals this week.

Dealt Rivers and Fred Jackson for Cam Newton and Chris Johnson. Really no risk there, as Johnson won't see the field except for bye weeks, (we only play 2 RB's , no flex) or if he blows up and takes advantage of the ridiculously easy schedule he has the rest of the way.

Also dealt Doug Martin, Demaryius Thomas and Martellus Bennett for Eddie Lacy, Eric Decker and Jimmy Graham.

Newton
Kaepernick

R. Bush
Lacy
Johnson
J. Bell
D. Brown

Decker
Gordon
S. Johnson

Graham

Pretty much the epitome of boom or bust.

Nice... I am sitting at 2-4 in one of my leagues as well and have been attempting/executing similar trades to get back on track and as you said, "mix it up." I like what you are doing there.

In that league, I recently proposed 2 trades, which are:

Aaron Rodgers, Trent Richardson and Lamar Miller for RG3, Marshawn Lynch and Cordarelle Patterson (with hopes that he will improve with Freeman).

and

Aaron Rodgers, T.Y. Hilton and Ryan Mathews for Phillip Rivers, Greg Jennings and Reggie Wayne.

Man. I'm at the point where I have to trade Brees for something.

Martin, Cobb, Finley. Dead.

My undead team:

Brees, Dalton
Matthews, Joique Bell, Pierre Thomas, Zac Stacy
Thompkins, Tate, Cruz
Haushka
Denver D

What sort of return should I expect for Brees?

I'm currently 3-3, up 2 this week with Cruz v. Jennings. For some reason Im not liking that.

Well, the Doug Martin deal was rather fortunate timing for me, not so much for the other owner.

Thinking of making one last move - Reggie Bush and Stevie Johnson for AJ Green and T-Rich.

Would take me from the above roster to:

Newton
Kaepernick

Lacy
CJ0K
Richardson
Brown
Bell

Green
Decker
Gordon

Graham

Worth it? I think CJ's schedule the rest of the way makes Reggie expendable as long as I'm getting an elite WR back in return. Richardson won't play unless Lacy or CJ get hurt - and if that happens, my season is over anyway. I'm sitting at 2-5 and a game out of the last playoff spot. I need to win.

I've been offered Matt Ryan, Nicks, McGahee for Brees.

Should I counter with Brees/Cruz for Ryan/Jordy Nelson?

I'd do everything I could to get a RB and WR in return for Brees and roll with Dalton the ROS.

Neither of those deals make you better, IMO. They both just spin your wheels.

Offered Garçon/KC D for Cruz/J. Bell.

I'm thinking about taking it. Still allows me to trade Brees.

I wouldn't do it. Chiefs defense are racking up in points and I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. Not because I'm a Chiefs fan, but they have been a big part of my 6-1 record.

I really don't like CJ0K, but I think that is still a good trade. AJ Green is a bad ass.

That was a rape even before the injury. Lacy > Martin and Graham >> Bennett.

So a guy really wants Brees. I've made the decision to roll with da ginger the rest of the year.

His rbs are Williams, McFadden, Foster, Woodhead, James, Mcgahee

His wrs are Nelson, Demariyus, Wallace, nicks, Durham.

What about Brees/Matthews or J. Bell for Nelson/James?

Admittedly I am terrible at offering trades. To me, foster is probably untradeable. And I like James because I also have Martin.
