If we don't win on Sunday...oh well. I was NOT expecting an Elite Eight appearance with this team. It has been a great season. Anything from here on out is a bonus.

The first 30 minutes or so felt like the Detroit game... waited for the teams to settle in, and just like vs Detroit, by the time there was about 40 combined points, I was feeling pretty good about it. They just needed to start hitting some shots. Then, with about 10 minutes left, it started to feel more and more like Purdue... wasting possessions, not capitalizing on NC State's ability to to string together a decent run (until the finally did).

Eh, survive and advance, and the obligatory "if they keep playing like this"... like others said, I hope they play the underdog role and play as loose as they did the last time they played UNC.

On a positive note, that shows how tough our defense was tonight. Stats like that we usually are going home.

I wasn't impressed tonight, but of course it's just one game and their first after Marshall's injury... Ohio went full reerun a handful of times within 3 feet of the basket, and UNC looked like just another one of Roy's teams on defense. I like Kansas' chances if they have a decent shooting night and get back and play good defense like they've done so far this tournament.

Another ugly win, we have over achieved all season. This team has hit my expectations for this year..... another win and it's just gravy from here on out. But tonight was another nail bitter, I really thought we would let this one slip away and the other night sat there patiently and thought we would pull one out (vs Purdue ).
