Our safties scare me a little, as well as the defense in general against the Patriots offense, but i think our offense is going to stomp a mudhole in them.

We just need a few defensive stop during the game. If we can force them to punt a couple times we should be set. I think we can score every possession on their garbage defense! They just can’t match our weapons. Someone is gonna be Mahomes open on every play!

I'm really looking forward to revisiting all these hot "Brady can't throw deep no more!!" takes if/when Gordon gets acclimated into the offense.

For 20 years Brady's deep ball has been a function of having some good deep threats. When it's the smurf attack and everything is horizontal, "his deep ball sux!!!" and when he has a Moss or a Cook or whoever then he's perfectly fine.

It may not be this week or even this year, of course, and inevitably he will fall off eventually, but I was hearing he couldn't throw deep right up until 2007. Geez, Deion Branch and Troy Brown aren't good deep ball threats. WHO KNEW?!?

Josh Gordon is going to catch 30 balls in NE this year, tops, and then fade back into obscurity again.

He didn't even JUMP for that ball against the Colts, the DBs just totally misplayed it.

He went deep to Moss because Brady still had good deep ball and great velocity. The game winner vs Baltimore in 2007--I'm not sure he can make that throw anymore

His deep ball accuracy and velocity was actually better in 2016 and 2017 than it was in 2007.

That is entirely possible. It's been years since he did a damn thing. And if he does nothing this year -- or nothing much -- then everyone will say Brady's deep ball sucks. Which will, again, be mostly a function of having smurf receivers and no legitimate deep threat.
